 BCB Bike Show

Welcome

The very first BCB Bike show, was held at the Civil Service Sports Club ground, Filton Avenue, Bristol, BS7 0AT.

. The show, formerly run as HJ's Show in Chipping Sodbury, ran from 11am - 5pm on Saturday 7th May 2011.

This year's event was kindly sponsored by a number of organisations, including Restore charity shop, and Woodlands Church.

Restore is owned and operated by Edge Church, Bristol, has a fantastic record of fundraising and helping the local community.

Woodlands Church is a large church based in the centre of Bristol.  You can visit their website here www.woodlandschurch.net

What was happening?

The afternoon was a great opportunity for the whole community to get together.  The main event is obviously the bike show itself, which had several categories and prizes in each.  Check out the Show page from the main menu for more details.

During the afternoon there were a wide range of activities to keep everyone occupied; Live music from the Flying Monk Band (incl guess appearance by Levi James) & The Stratt Williams Endurance, Trade Stands, Food Stalls, Hot and Cold Drinks and the ultimate in summer entertainment - The Bouncy Castle!

Ride Safe!

What was it for?

The main aim of the show was to bring the wider community together to enjoy an afternoon of fun surrounded by some very nice, and some not so nice, bikes from local owners and enthusiasts.

We also used the opportunity to raise some much needed funds for the Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service.  See the Charity page for more details.
